Welcome to Eldoret, a haven for Trophy and Biltong Hunters in the Bushmanland Region ofNorth Eastern Namibia and home to Nico and Vasti Badenhorst where you are guaranteed of a warm welcome and a hunting experience never to be forgotten!
We have been farming here for the past 20 years and have a family orientated setup with our service and cuisine second to none. Nico is a registered PH in Namibia for rifle and bow hunting and Vasti is in charge of the meals and accommodation herself to ensure you are well rested and looked after during your stay. We are assisted by our friendly and helpful staff in this regard and references are freely available should you wish for them.
Our terrain is savannah woodland and consists of 10000Ha with 10 species of plains game and leopard although visitors from Europe have commented that Eldoret offers the best of both worlds since about half of the farm is located over sand with broad-leafed trees and soft ground to stalk over perhaps more reminicent of Botswana. The remainder provides for a more typical Namibian experience with dense grasslands Camel Thorn trees and bushes which provides for greater variation that one would perhaps otherwise expect.
Our meals and drinks are served in the common Lapa area where you can relax and even cool off in the pool or get warm on a chilly African evening at the campfire. The meals are prepared in the farm kitchen and on the braai (BBQ).
Our accommodation consists of two spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms that can accommodate two people per room. The rooms are equipped with electricity and everything else to make your stay as comfortable as possible and we provide appropriately for Biltong Hunters also as you will see from our dedicated Biltong Hunting Page - sorry that this is in Afrikaans but until recently we have not marketed ourselves beyond Southern Africa - so why not be the first in your Club to experience Eldoret's hospitality!
